The Atomic Icon RS 12 binding is inspired by the World Cup model used by professional athletes, but designed for lighter young racers who need a DIN range of 4 to 12. It uses the Icon series’ Centralized Power Transfer system, which positions the binding interface directly under the boot and adapts it to the next generation of ski racers to deliver optimal control and responsiveness.

Power and durability come from a construction that blends steel and fiberglass, along with a metal Race Pedal that allows the boot sole to rest directly on the AFD plate for continuous energy transfer to the ski. The brakes are positioned very close to the heel piece, helping skiers better engage their turns and set their edges more effectively.
