The support incorporates a compressive knit and a circumferential support band to add extra security. The splint is functional allowing use of the fingers and thumb and is popular as an occupational splint or for use around the home during light to moderate manual tasks.

Who Should Use This?

This brace can be used from adolescence into old age to support the Wrist and inferior radio-ulnar joint. It is a reliable lightweight brace suitable for those who require support in the home, office or light manual working environment. It is not suitable for heavy use or for contact sports

More specifically it is suitable for:

• Wrist injuries including sprains and strains
• Following fractures after removal of a rigid cast to provide ongoing support during rehabilitation
• Tendon injuries and inflammation including tenosynovitis, strains and tendonitis.
• As a post operative resting splint – Surgeon or physiotherapist to advise.
• Use in the office or light manual jobs to provide extra support to injured or inflamed joints
• Use in inflammatory situations secondary to arthritis.

How Does it Work?

The pull on design includes a pull on aid to assist with application . The volar splint ( which runs along the palm side of the wrist ) stabilizes and supports the wrist in a neutral position. The brace incorporates a compressive knit and a circumferential support band to provide added support. The splint is functional allowing use of the fingers and thumb and is popular as an occupational splint or for use around the home during light to moderate manual tasks.

The support incorporates integral removable wedges to help reduce tension and stretch on the Tendo-Achilles and posterior calf.

Sizing and Technical Information:
