Black Midi, a charismatic band that stands out in the next generation of the UK rock scene with their impressive playing skills and explosive imagination, has released their latest album "Hellfire"! Produced in London during the lockdown that followed the release of their shocking second album "Cavalcade", the album retains the melodies and harmonies of the previous album, but the hasty and ferocious band ensemble of their first album "Schlagenheim" has returned and become rare. A consistent concept is laid out in which various stories that seared the morality of modern society are told in the first person. The band's first release, "Welcome To Hell," a hardcore progressive rock song about a soldier who falls into darkness due to the horrors of war, was produced by Black Midi and features funky guitar riffs and a horn section with a destructive power that develops at a dizzying pace. The album was produced by Marta Saloni, who also produced "John L," a song that has become a new signature track for the band and has been enthusiastically received by listeners.The album showcases the breadth, power, and strong production of Black Midi's music as never before. The Japanese CD and limited edition with T-shirt will include a commentary and bilingual lyrics, and an additional bonus track, a live recording of the Stave Albini recording.
