Description:

The prestigious band Sonnes de Oriente was formed in 1938 in Santiago de Cuba, the old capital of Cuba and the cradle of the Son. However, as is often the case with Cuban bands, the band has always opened its doors to younger members while rejuvenating its members, and has promoted both traditional inheritance and innovation. This is the 80th anniversary album of this long-established band.
