A 6" stretched gas tank with a pointed end, especially designed for 6" stretched High Neck Chopper frames. Features extra wide tunnel to accept up to 2 3/8" top tube Chopper frames. Tank is equipped with recessed bolt-on mounting brackets for a smooth and hidden look. The rear of these tanks are tapped 1/8"-27 NPT to take a fuel crossover line, and must be used with a 13/16"(22mm) petcock. Holds 4.7 Gallon (17.5 Liter). Come complete with mounting hardware, even to fit "rubber-mounted" applications, and pop-up gas cap.

GAS TANKS The zinc-chromate primer finish on some of our tanks is provided for the protection of the tanks during shipment and storage. It is not recommended as a primer finish for paint applications without proper surface preparation. As with any fuel tank, particularly one where custom paint is to be applied, all tanks must be pressure tested, then cleaned with tank cleaner and sealed with tank sealer before painting, to protect the final finish and prevent internal rust during winter storage. Fuel capacity is measured with tank in upright position, angle of parked bike will determine actual capacity of the fuel tank.
