Latin Name: Heuchera 'Fire Chief'
Description: Commonly called Coral Bells or Alum Root, the 'Fire Chief' variety has red emerging leaves and more mature leaves that are maroon with veins. This specimen is great for its heat tolerance and its ability to keep its colour throughout the seasons. In the spring it is a more bright shade of red, then turns deep maroon in the summer and fall. 'Fire Chief' has continuous blooms of small panicles of pink, bell-shaped flowers through the spring until the fall.
