Highly recommended.

The dubbier yet equally urgent sister album to Fugazi's The Argument. Fidgety and paranoid but literate and articulate in equal measure, with an incredible thick low end and shouty emotional hooks to spare. One of the best opening tracks ever, any genre. Their other albums range from excellent (the first) to better than their rep but inessential (the last) but this is the peak, songs uniquely evocative of their time and place yet well-crafted enough to endure for all eternity.

Dischord's finest hour that doesn't involve its founder (well, given the production and engineering credits, that's only a partial truth, but you know what I mean).
