The leaves are perforated at the gutter, with about 8 stubs from detached leaves, 1 of which is loosely inserted, plus a few extra paper strips. The booklet is undated but has the name of Jeannine LeMoine, de Brassy school (central France). According to the instructions on the back cover, the album has the benefit of not requiring an instructor's attention beyond a brief "warm up" or introduction to the exercise. Rather, the students can copy the designs from the models, as they would a schematic.
