Our Golden Herd Heritage Wagyu fillet has the same extraordinary tenderness combined with fine, intricate Wagyu marbling — producing a buttery, melt-in-the-mouth steak with far more depth of flavour than a standard fillet. It's a completely different eating experience.

How do I cook a Wagyu fillet steak?

Bring to room temperature for 30 minutes. Season with sea salt only — the marbling provides all the flavour needed. Sear in a hot pan with a small amount of butter — 2 minutes per side for medium-rare. The Wagyu fat content means it needs less heat than standard beef. Rest for at least 5 minutes. Don't overcook — medium-rare is essential to showcase the marbling.
