This whimsical fascinator is a custom, hand-draped creation that makes a dramatic statement. The silk abaca bow and curled ostrich quill have been hand-dyed in a rich midnight black.

Luxurious silk abaca is the blend of silk and abaca fibers and is a relatively new fabric to the millinery trade. This vibrant material is made by weaving the processed stalks of the abaca tree, a banana palm from the Philippines, through silk. It is really smooth, strong and fluid, and is easy to color with silk dyes. It has an incredible sheen.
