With a 3–26 mm clamping range, it fits a broad range of common tools. The coolant seal is designed to minimize leaks, and the non-overlapping longitudinal slots at the center reduce coolant loss. Note that newer versions have no rubber seal on the nose. For optimal performance, be sure to use only round shank tooling with no clamping flats, as flats will render the seal ineffective.
