The wedge design of the protective rail bumpers fills in the gap between the mattress and the side rail to prevent entrapment of the arms or legs. The extra-thick cushioning of the foam is more comfortable to patients during accidental encounters. These wedge cushions are often used with seizure patients to reduce the risk of self-injury. The foam core is covered with a durable vinyl fabric. This cover is bacteriostatic and is easy to wipe clean. Select between full or half rail coverage.
