Built around our modular GunnelCore™ System, Ultimate Rod Racks provide a configurable approach to rod storage that works with common storage pocket and console layouts found across many boats, allowing owners to select the setup that best suits their boat and style of use.

Silverback Low Rider (SLR) – Senator Compatible

The SLR Frame (Silverback Low Rider) is designed for use on Senator boats that feature suitable side or console pocket layouts. It is not compatible with the Cuddy 500 or SC540 models.

Using the GunnelCore™ System adjustable mounting platform, the SLR can be configured to suit both straight and angled storage pockets, depending on the mounting system selected.

Where a lower rack position is preferred, optional GunnelCore™ System brackets allow the rack to sit closer to the deck, improving access, balance, and overall usability.

Compatible Senator Models & Recommended Configuration

For Senator boats within the Cuddy and Side Console 450–500 range, Ultimate Rod Racks typically utilise the Hybrid 34mm system where straight storage pockets are present.

The Hybrid 34mm configuration is designed specifically for straight pocket layouts only and provides a stable, removable rod rack solution using the GunnelCore™ System. It is not suitable for angled pocket designs.

Commonly compatible Senator models include:

• Side Console: SC450, SC500

• Cuddy: 450, 500, 550

Important: Compatibility is dependent on the presence of straight storage pockets. Pocket orientation and dimensions must be checked prior to ordering to confirm suitability.

Configuration Options

Removable System – Hybrid 34mm

The Hybrid 34mm removable setup, built on the GunnelCore™ System, offers a flexible, non-permanent solution for boats with straight storage pockets. This option is ideal for owners who want the ability to remove the rack when not in use or when changing setups.

Static Console Mounting

For boats where a fixed installation is preferred, the Console Assembly System or Direct fix Console Units provides a solid, permanent mounting option, delivering maximum stability for dedicated setups.
