The single that never happened — until now. Recorded in 1983 and never officially released, this rare Iggy Pop 7" captures a pivotal moment between albums, featuring collaborations with two of rock's most distinctive figures.
After the commercial disappointment of Zombie Birdhouse, Iggy teamed up with Ric Ocasek of The Cars in Boston to record three tracks. Two are presented here: the A-side Fire Engine features Al Jourgensen of Ministry on guitar, who also co-wrote the track. The B-side Warrior Tribe is a brooding, atmospheric counterpoint. Both tracks have been remastered for vinyl in this limited edition pressing of 500 on green 7" vinyl.
