Enjoy the Dutch landscape while wearing a hoodie showing a North American F-86K Sabre of the Royal Netherlands Air Force (KLu) with registration Q-255 of Squadron 700. You can see almost every bolt of this plane on this painting!
The F-86K was a development of the F-86 Sabre jet fighter, which became famous because of the Korean War. The Dutch originally wanted the British Gloster Meteor night fighters, however they were too expensive. On October 1st, 1955 the first of a total of 63 F-86K’s was delivered. These aircraft flew until 1964.
